Gannet's mooring is located approximately
  ½ mile / 800 metres from the well signposted and easy to find Caledonian MacBrayne Ferry Terminal.

Follow the road signs for the car ferry around Oban town centre. Drive past the Ferry Terminal entrance and continue along  Gallanach Road, past the LightHouse Pier and the Manor Park Hotel on your right - the road is very narrow here with a sharp and blind left bend - then drive past the Dungallan House Hotel turn-in.

Another 300 metres along on your left you'll pass the Creagdhu Guest House, then 50 metres further on your right look out for the steps  leading down to the shore and a little jetty situated directly opposite the Cardentrive Guest House.

SATNAV If you have satnav in your car, the postcode to enter for the mooring's location is PA34 4PD.

We pick up and drop off our passengers from the little jetty on the shore just here and transfer you to Gannet in our large tender.

There is free parking along some stretches of this part of Gallanach Road.
